Product overview
A turbo blower is a high-speed centrifugal air blower. Its impeller spins at tens of thousands of RPM, accelerating the air and converting that speed into pressure.
It does the same job as a Roots blower in an aeration tank, but an inverter trims the speed to match the oxygen the biology actually needs. Since aeration is often the largest share of a treatment plant’s power bill, that usually means a noticeably lower running cost.
Don’t confuse it with
A turbo blower is not a Roots blower. A Roots blower traps a fixed volume of air between two lobes; a turbo blower compresses air dynamically, so its output can be adjusted smoothly with speed.
